Who We Are

Who is Trinity City Church?

A Spirit-empowered, full Gospel-centered community serving Fort Worth, Texas and the surrounding communities.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to build His church where lives are transformed by biblical preaching, authentic worship, fervent prayer, life-giving fellowship, and disciple-making outreach.

To us, the local church is not simply an example of a faith-based nonprofit organization — it is the living body of Christ, called to proclaim His Gospel and reflect His Kingdom on earth.

Our Foundation

Six foundational pillars

At the heart of Trinity City Church are six biblical pillars that shape everything we do.

01

Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ

At Trinity City Church, everything begins and ends with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We exist to preach the pure message of Christ crucified and risen, not with human wisdom, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. There is no program or resource that can replace the life-changing truth that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Simply put — Jesus gave His life for us, so through faith, we give our lives to Him. Every sermon, every prayer, every act of ministry at Trinity City Church is built on that unshakable foundation.

02

Worship of the One Triune God

We are a chosen people, called out of darkness to declare the praises of the One True God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Worship is not just something we do; it is who we are. Every song, prayer, and act of obedience flows from the reality that God alone is worthy of our adoration. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals the Triune nature of the One who created us, redeemed us, and empowers us. At Trinity City Church, we exist to glorify the Triune God in spirit and truth — lifting high His name and proclaiming His glory in all we do.

03

Prayer

Prayer is the heartbeat of the believer and the lifeline of the Church. It's simply talking to God about everything — our needs, our gratitude, our fears, and our faith. Prayer isn't ritual; it's relationship. Just as Jesus prayed in the garden and the early church gathered to pray in unity, we follow their example, bringing all things before our Father with thanksgiving. In prayer, we find peace, power, and direction. At Trinity City Church, we believe we are not truly the Church without prayer — because a Church that doesn't talk to God can't move in His power.

04

Fellowship of Believers

We need the Lord — and we need each other. God designed His people to grow in faith and strength together. The early Church in Acts modeled this by gathering often, sharing life, meeting needs, and worshiping with joy and unity. Fellowship is where we find encouragement, accountability, and belonging — where faith becomes family. While no church is perfect, our love for one another reflects the love of Christ. At Trinity City Church, we are committed to authentic, life-giving relationships that build up the body of Christ and advance His mission together.

05

The Ordinances

We celebrate baptism and communion as sacred acts of obedience, remembering what Jesus has done and declaring who we are in Him. Baptism proclaims the death of our old life and the beginning of our new life in Christ. Communion reminds us of His broken body and shed blood — the ultimate act of love and redemption. These ordinances don't save us; they testify that we are saved by grace through faith. At Trinity City Church, baptism and communion stand at the heart of our worship — visible expressions of an invisible grace that unite us as one body in Christ.

06

Making Disciples

Jesus' final command is our ongoing mission: Go and make disciples of all nations. The Great Commission is not optional — it defines the Church. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we preach Christ crucified, baptize new believers, and teach them to walk in obedience to God's Word. Our goal is not just to fill seats, but to multiply disciples who transform the world through the power of the Gospel. At Trinity City Church, everything we do flows from this call — because if we are not making disciples, we are not fulfilling the mission Jesus gave His Church.
